Description
Wild winter branches, the scent of fresh evergreens and the warmth of Christmas candlelight.
Inspired by the quiet beauty of Irish woodlands in winter, The Christmas Woodland Gathering is a wonderfully natural Christmas table centrepiece, bringing together everything we love about the festive season.
Four elegant ivory pillar candles rise from a generous gathering of fresh evergreen foliage, dried orange slices, natural pine cones, decorative lotus heads, cinnamon sticks, eucalyptus and beautifully textured winter branches.
Earthy, rustic and deliberately a little wild, this arrangement celebrates Christmas in its most natural form. Rather than traditional baubles and glitter, we’ve chosen the rich greens, warm browns and delicate winter textures of the woodland floor.
Handcrafted by our florists in Dún Laoghaire, each centrepiece is individually designed in our signature loose, abundant Forest Green style.
A Natural Woodland Christmas Table Centrepiece
There’s something especially beautiful about bringing a little of the outdoors inside at Christmas.
The Christmas Woodland Gathering is inspired by forest walks, fallen pine cones, bare winter branches and the wonderful scent of fresh greenery.
Designed in a generous, elongated shape, this arrangement stretches naturally across the table, with branches and foliage extending beyond its centre to create movement and an organic, gathered-from-the-woods appearance.
Its woodland-inspired ingredients include:
- Four elegant ivory pillar candles
- Fresh fir, pine and seasonal evergreen foliage
- Natural pine cones in different shapes and sizes
- Dried orange slices
- Decorative lotus heads
- Cinnamon sticks
- Eucalyptus and silvery-green foliage
- Bare winter branches and textured twigs
- Seasonal seed heads and delicate natural botanicals
- Soft cream and neutral winter accents
The combination of fresh greenery and naturally dried materials creates a beautifully textured arrangement that feels festive without being overly decorated.
The dried orange and cinnamon introduce warm seasonal colours, while pine cones, branches and seed heads give the design its distinctive woodland character.
As we work with fresh and seasonal materials, individual ingredients may vary slightly. We’ll always preserve the natural, earthy colour palette and beautifully wild character of The Christmas Woodland Gathering.
Four Candles, One Beautiful Christmas Table
Christmas is all about gathering.
Gathering around the table, sharing food, catching up with family and friends, and enjoying those special moments that make the season memorable.
With four ivory pillar candles positioned at varying heights, The Christmas Woodland Gathering creates a warm and welcoming centrepiece for festive dining.
The soft candlelight complements the rich evergreen foliage, dried citrus and natural branches, bringing a lovely sense of warmth to the Christmas table.
Perfect for Christmas Day dining, Christmas Eve celebrations, family gatherings, festive dinner parties and relaxed seasonal entertaining.
Its elongated, naturally spreading shape makes it particularly suitable for rectangular dining tables, larger kitchen islands and rustic festive displays.
It looks especially beautiful styled with natural linen, wooden table settings, simple ceramics and warm candlelight.
Inspired by the Irish Woodlands in Winter
The Irish countryside has a special kind of beauty during the colder months.
Evergreen trees stand against bare winter branches, woodland floors become scattered with fallen cones, and the landscape takes on a quieter, more understated character.
We wanted to capture that feeling in a Christmas arrangement that celebrates nature rather than traditional festive decoration.
Fresh fir and pine bring rich green colour and wonderful texture, while eucalyptus softens the design with its silvery leaves.
Natural pine cones, dried orange, cinnamon and lotus heads add warmth, depth and an unmistakable Christmas feeling.
Bare branches rise through the arrangement, giving it height, movement and a beautifully untamed finish.
The result is a Christmas centrepiece that feels as though it has been gathered from a winter woodland and brought home for the festivities.
A little wild. Wonderfully natural. Very Forest Green.

Are all four candles included?
Yes. The arrangement includes four ivory pillar candles positioned at varying heights to create a natural, balanced display.
Is this suitable for a Christmas dining table?
Yes. Its generous, elongated shape makes it particularly suitable for rectangular dining tables, Christmas Day gatherings and festive entertaining. We recommend checking your available table space before ordering.
What makes this arrangement different from your other Christmas centrepieces?
The Christmas Woodland Gathering has a more natural, rustic character, with bare winter branches, dried citrus, pine cones and earthy woodland textures. It contains fewer decorative Christmas elements, allowing the natural materials to take centre stage.
What colours are used in the arrangement?
The arrangement features rich forest greens, warm natural browns, dried orange tones, soft cream and silvery eucalyptus, creating an understated woodland-inspired Christmas palette.
What flowers and foliage are used?
This design focuses on fresh evergreen foliage and natural winter materials rather than traditional flowers. Expect fir, pine, eucalyptus, pine cones, dried orange, lotus heads, cinnamon and seasonal branches.
How long will the Christmas centrepiece last?
With suitable care, the fresh evergreen foliage can remain attractive throughout much of the festive period. Dried ingredients such as pine cones, lotus heads, cinnamon and dried orange can last considerably longer.
Keep the arrangement cool and away from radiators, direct heat and strong sunlight.
Can I light the four pillar candles?
The candles are included as decorative features. If you choose to light them, ensure the flames remain well clear of all foliage, branches and decorations. Never leave burning candles unattended and extinguish them before they burn down towards the arrangement. Dried botanicals are flammable, so the candles should remain unlit if safe clearance cannot be maintained.

Each arrangement is individually handcrafted using natural seasonal ingredients. Some materials may vary slightly, but the overall size, woodland-inspired shape and earthy colour palette will be maintained.
